Current Vacancy - Personal Tax Manager

Howard Worth Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers are a leading Cheshire Firm who provide advice and support to a range of business clients.

The Practice is now recruiting a full-time Tax Manager to work at our Northwich office. The successful candidate will be responsible for approximately 70% personal tax compliance work and 30% personal tax planning  as follows:

  • Preparation and submission of personal income tax returns, trust returns and pension scheme returns

  • Preparation and submission of P11Ds

  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries

  • Identification of planning opportunities pre, during and post January deadline.

  • Client meetings to propose and implement planning

  • Mentoring a trainee on technical and procedural aspects

The ideal candidate should be CTA qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience with previous experience of IRIS and CCH and of working with financial advisors on lead generation.
