NEBOSH National General (NGC) Certificate Day Release Course
Introduction:
The NEBOSH National General Certificate has been recognised for many years as the basis for a sound, broad introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety.
Objectives:
The NEBOSH National General Certificate aims to provide those making day-to-day decisions at work with a broad knowledge of health and safety in order to ensure that the health and safety implications of their decisions are properly taken into account. The vast majority of occupational injuries and incidents of ill-health are avoidable by good health and safety management; and good health and safety management is an essential element of good overall management.

Managers, supervisors, team leaders and safety representatives. Anyone making day-to-day health and safety related decisions at work.

- Physical and psychological health hazards and control
- Constructive activities – hazards and control
- Incident investigation, recording and reporting
- Monitoring, review and audit
Duration:
10 days plus 1 day practical assessment and 1 day examinations.
NOTE:
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate from the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health.
