Vacancy - Apprentice Receptionist / Admin Assistant

Job Summary:


We require a confident and friendly person for a front of house role at our busy Accountants practice.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn admin procedures in a busy office environment, with the potential to gain experience and work your way up. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an NVQ Business Admin course with a local training provider.


Responsibilities:


Duties to include answering the telephone to external callers, putting calls through and taking messages, greeting visitors (clients, suppliers etc), scanning incoming post, printing letters, franking outgoing post, making drinks for clients, scanning and filing documents on our internal document management system and providing general support to the Admin Team as required.


Qualifications / Requirements:


Candidates must be well presented and smart with a confident telephone manner and good communication skills.  Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, adaptable and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.  You should be computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook and have Maths and English GCSE Grade C or 5 or above.  Full training will be given on the telephone, internal software packages and our internal procedures.
