Eat, drink and make new contacts

Lunchtime networking is on the menu with the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.

A new event, 'Meet & Eat', was launched at Residence in Nantwich giving business representatives a chance to meet in a social environment.

Business representatives drawn from the sectors of law, banking, utility services, digital media and creative communications enjoyed welcome drinks and a two-course meal.

After welcome drinks, a two course lunch was served.

Daryl Williams, the Chamber’s new Events Co-Ordinator, said: “Finding time to network is often an issue so Meet and Eat has been introduced to offer members a chance to make new contacts over a bite to eat at lunchtime.

“They can network in a relaxed, social environment with fine food and at a great location in South Cheshire. The first event was a big success and we are planning to make it a quarterly feature.”

"Tables will consist of four to eight people giving Chamber members a chance to chat and build new business relationships or strengthen existing ones."

Next on the Chamber calendar is a Final Friday networking event at the Nags Head pub in Haughton, from 9-10am on June 26.
