'How to complete a winning award entry' Workshop

The prestigious 2017 South Cheshire Chamber Business Awards are soon to be launched and feedback from previous entrants and winners has identified the many benefits that entering for an award can bring to your business.
All too often business owners and managers are so busy with the day to day running of their business they do not get the chance to take a step back and reflect on their achievements and successes. As a nation we are notorious for not celebrating our successes and even when we want to we are not sure how to go about it.

Entering for award provides a structure to review the strengths and weaknesses of your business, to raise the profile of your business and your employees as well as establishing a benchmark for further success. And this process doesn’t end once you have submitted your entry. The credibility and publicity gained from being an award finalist or winner continues long after the awards ceremony.

But where do you start? For many businesses the process is daunting, but the Chamber is offering free workshops to Chamber members to help you complete a winning awards entry. Come along to one of the sessions and pick up top tips on how to maximize your chances of winning an award, how to use the process to reflect and develop your business, and how to enhance the profile of your business within the local business community, with your suppliers, customers and employees.

“Having attended the South Cheshire Chamber Awards Workshop, I left feeling confident that our entries matched the judges requirements and as a result, Crewe Hall has won and been highly commended for many different accolades since.  It was a great opportunity to meet with other local businesses, the South Cheshire Chamber Team and Fiona Rose (Marketing Strategist) who all gave invaluable advice and support for the upcoming entries deadline.  For the day, I do recommend having a general idea of which awards you are looking to enter and come loaded with a list of questions.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this workshop to anyone entering the South Cheshire Chamber or any local awards.” Jenna Stelfox, Crewe Hall Hotel.
Award winning Chamber member Fiona Rose from Fiona Rose Marketing Consultancy will share her secrets of success and help you to differentiate yourselves from your competitors with a winning entry and Awards Events Coordinator, Daryl Williams will be on hand to explain the criteria for each award in more detail.
