Our 87th Litter Pick on World Cleanup Day
We are going to tackle one of the loveliest spots that we visit. This is the wooded area to the side of the path from Flag Lane towards Chester Street. We were refused permission to park there by the council last year but sanity has won the day this year.
Please park in the nearest pay and display car park to the woods (near the Crosville Club. We will reimburse parking fees on the day. The council had intended to issue us with parking permits to hand to everyone but it turns out that they don't actually have the power to choose who parks on their own car park. We will refund any parking costs incurred on the day and then claim the money back from the Council.
We will meet at 10am on the Pay & Display car park nearest to the woods (Windycote Chester Street). All equipment will be provided. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. There is a path that runs through the area but much of the terrain is quite steep - as you can see if you look over the fence - and uneven.
Refreshments will be available at the Crosville Club at 11:30 - thank you Ange.
