Also Julian Cobley MD, Skills and Growth who will outline the support available to local business including assisting with skills and recruitment issues.

There will be the opportunity for delegates to ask questions of the speakers.
Members will receive an overview of The British Chambers of Commerce Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK. Each quarter BCC Chamber members businesses are questioned on a wide range of issues, including: home sales and orders, export sales and orders, employment prospects, investment, recruitment difficulties, cash flow, confidence and price pressures.

The QES is the first economic indicator of the quarter, published in advance of official figures and other private surveys, and it consistently mirrors trends in official data. For this reason the survey is closely watched by policymakers such as the Bank of England. Copies of the infographics summarising the key points of the British Chamber of Commerce QES report will be available for members to take away.
