Your Guide to Grant Funding for Rural Businesses in Cheshire East

The Skills & Growth Company invite you to join us at Church Minshull Aqueduct Marina on Wednesday 6th September 2017 from 10am to 12pm to find out about the range of support and grant funding opportunities available to rural businesses in Cheshire East.  


A range of support is available for projects that improve and promote strong rural economic growth:

  • Rural Tourism.
  • Rural Services.
  • Farm Diversification & micro/small Enterprises.
  • Cultural Heritage.
  • Forestry Production.
  • Food Processing.
  • Business Development.
  • Tourism Infrastructure.

Speakers :
Rural Payments Agency, who will discuss  the RDPE Growth Programme calls currently open across Cheshire and Warrington and the recently announced package of RDPE activities that will be launched this year which provides funding for projects that improve farm productivity under the Countryside Productivity Scheme.  Capital grants for Water Resource Management (including farm reservoirs) and Improving Forestry Productivity have already launched, with other CPS grant offers to follow later in the year.
 
Also presenting is Mandy Sibthorpe, Cheshire East LEADER Programme Manager, who will tell you about the unique source of funding for rural areas provided by this programme. 

Our final speaker Rachel Bolton, Rural Enterprise Manager at the Skills and Growth Company will be presenting on the business support available for businesses in rural Cheshire East.
 
There will also be an opportunity for businesses to ask questions and discuss projects in more detail over lunch.
